Renewals

Renewals are allowed if there are no holds on the item.  To renew, visit or call the library, or log in to your account in the library catalog.

Requests

To request an item that is checked out or on order, visit or call the library, or make an online request via the library catalog.  The catalog allows you to request items owned by other libraries in the GMILCS Consortium. Fines for items from other GMILCS libraries vary according to each library's policy. Lost items from other GMILCS libraries must be paid to the owning library.

Not every item in the library catalog is able to be requested.  New books and DVDs (within the first 6 months) are generally not requestable if they are not also owned by the Wadleigh Library, according to each library's policy.  If you try to request an item and you receive the message, "Requests are not permitted for this title. Contact the library for assistance," you may place an Interlibrary Loan Request for that title.  Please see the Interlibrary Loan page for further details about requesting non-requestable GMILCS items or any other items not found in the GMILCS catalog.
