Wadleigh Seed Library

The Wadleigh Seed Library is a great way to get your garden started! Whether you are a beginner or experienced gardener, it will provide you with a variety of seed options to try in your own garden each season.

How it works:

Similar to how you check out a library book, you can check out seeds from the Wadleigh Seed Library. Stop by the Library to browse available seeds to take home and plant. If you have had a successful growing season and would like to share your seeds with others, return any extra or new seeds to the Wadleigh Seed Library to keep our sustainable collection growing. You are not required to return any seeds. Feel free to save them for yourself or to share them with fellow gardeners!

How to "Check Out" Seeds:

  • Browse the variety of seeds available in the Wadleigh Seed Library.
  • To help us know what kind of seeds you are interested in planting, sign out your seed packet(s) on the "Seed Library Check Out" sheet located next to the seeds.
  • If you'd like, take a picture or make a photocopy of the growing instructions for your seeds, located in the "Wadleigh Seed Library" binder.
  • Take your seeds home to plant.
