Calling all Milford, NH businesses! This year, the Wadleigh Memorial Library's Summer Reading Program theme is "All Together Now." Given this year's theme, the library would like to bring our community together by providing local businesses with the opportunity to share their skills, knowledge, and products with their fellow community members. To support that goal, we would like to partner with Milford businesses by providing each business with the opportunity to host or present a program at the library or to donate a prize that will be raffled off throughout our Adult Summer Reading Program. This year's program will run from Friday, June 16th - Friday, July 28th.
The library offers a variety of adult programming formats, including but not limited to educational and entertainment activities, musical performances, author presentations, skill-building workshops, discussion groups, film screenings, travel presentations, historical talks, and so much more. Adult programs typically last 1-2 hours and can be scheduled during the morning, afternoon, and evening. All library programs are free and open to the public. Business program inquiries for our Summer Reading Program need to be received by the library by Friday, April 7th, either via email or phone call. In your program inquiry, please include the type of program that you would like to host, your preferred time of day, the length of the program, and your contact information.
During the Adult Summer Reading Program, participants can attend these events to receive raffle tickets. Participants also receive raffle tickets for each book that they read or challenge that they complete during the program. Each week, participants can enter their tickets into a raffle to win prizes from local businesses. All prize donations will need to be received by the library by Monday, May 1st.
Our 6,036 registered adult patrons look forward to participating in this annual program for the opportunity to connect with their fellow community members and for the chance to win prizes from local businesses. Participating businesses will be acknowledged on an advertised list of sponsors and on social media. We appreciate all that your business offers to the Milford community, and we hope to partner with you to bring our community together during our Adult Summer Reading Program this year!
