Free ebooks and audiobooks

In addition to the downloadable ebooks and audiobooks available for library card holders through Overdrive and Cloud Library, here are a few other resources to find free ebooks and audiobooks:

  • Internet Archive - includes both Open Library, where you can find classics, and the National Emergency Library, which has many newer titles and resources for homeschooling.
  • Project Gutenberg - includes many classics and titles with expired copyrights.
  • DPLA - the Digital Public Library of America brings together free collections from museums and libraries across America.
  • Scribd - Free ebooks for 30 days when you sign up.
  • Tumble Book Library - ebooks for children in grades K-6
  • Teen Book Cloud - ebooks for grades 7-12
  • Audio Book Cloud - downloadable audiobooks for all ages
