Thanks to the recent successful membership drive, we now have over 50 members and hope to keep going!
What is The Friends?
The Friends of the Wadleigh
Memorial Library is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization lending support to the Library in various capacities.
Your support enables the Friends to sponsor and promote Library programs for all ages, including the Acoustic Cafe and the 5th Birthday Program.
We also use your contributions to provide free or discounted admission passes to a number of regional museums, including Boston's Museum of Fine Arts, Museum of Science, and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, as well as local museums such as Manchester's Currier Museum of Art and Concord's Christa McAuliffe Planetarium.
How do you join the Friends?
Joining the Friends is easy. Just pick up a Friends brochure at the Library and fill out the sign-up form inside. Or, click here for a printable sign-up form (pdf).
We welcome your participation on any level and your recognition of the Library as a valuable community resource.
Friends yearly membership contributions:- Student/Senior $10
- Individual $15
- Family $25
- Lifetime Member $150
- Corporate Member $250
How can you participate as a Friend?
In addition to your tax-deductible membership, you can choose to support the Friends and the Library with your time. Opportunities include:
- Volunteer at fundraisers, such as refreshment sales at the Library Coffeehouse series.
- Attend the monthly Friends' meetings at the Library (3rd Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m.).
- Become a Library volunteer.
